Welcome to the Kinawa 5th and 6th Grade School Guidance web site. The Kinawa Guidance and Counseling Program is designed to meet the developmental needs of all students. Our goal is to provide a guidance program which promotes and enhances our students' academic, social and emotional development. The 5th and 6th grade years are very important transitional years for students. We want to provide services which will ensure a successful educational experience for all students. Our counselor, Mr. Case, works with students, parents, teachers, administrators and community organizations. Our most important goal is for students and parents to know that we are here to help students and promote healthy adolescent develpment. Our program is delivered through individual counseling, small and large group lessons, consultations and referrals. |
