Young Fives "Begindergarten" Program for Fall 2016

There will be a Parent Information Meeting at 6:00p.m. on Wednesday, May 4th, in the Okemos Public Montessori @ Central Library to help parents learn more about Begindergarten and its benefits for their child. Begindergarten is a program serving students who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2016.

This program is designed to assist developmentally or chronologically "young" children develop readiness skills for kindergarten the following year.  It is free to eligible families.  Though it is designed to serve Okemos School District residents, the program may be open to other families in Ingham County provided space is available. 

Mrs. Hallman, Principal, and  Ms. Jamie Horn, teacher, will do a short presentation and Q&A. The application process will be explained  at this meeting.  Applications and supporting documents are be due by 4pm on May 13, 2016.  This is not a first come/first served process.  A lottery is conducted if more than twenty Okemos Public School residents apply.
