SINGLE SIGN-ON FOR POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL IS NOW AVAILABLE…. We are pleased to provide to parents Single Sign-On, the latest release to the Parent Portal. Beginning September 4, 2012, the Single Sign-On feature will allow parents or guardians to have one login for multiple students for whom they have legal and parental rights. Each parent or guardian can have a unique login if they provide a personal email address. Parents or guardians can create their own accounts using the appropriate access credentials. Using your student’s Access ID and Access Password will allow parents or guardians to create a personal username and password for the Parent Portal. The Access ID is the username that you use currently to sign on to Parent Portal. PowerSchool’s Parent Portal gives parents and guardians real-time information including attendance, grades, school information and student course requests. The PowerSchool Parent Portal is a valuable tool, helping you stay well informed of your student’s academic progress and attendance. Parents and guardians can automatically recover their login information if they forget their username or password. Parents may obtain their student’s username and password directly from the student’s school. A photo ID is required when this information is picked up at the school. Parents who have accessed the Parent Portal in the past will need to create an account for themselves and attach their students using each student’s old login information. Access ID and Passwords are now case-sensitive. We hope you enjoy the new Single Sign On Parent Portal!
