Aurora

Aurora is the annual publication of creative work by Okemos High School Students.  As a group, Aurora seeks to develop creativity and promote art appreciation.  Aurora is led by two senior editors and two junior editors.  We host creative workshops and periodically run contests. 

You may submit your prose, poetry, essays, anecdotes, photography, drawing, or other creative endeavors to Aurora at any time. All students are encouraged to submit works for consideration directly to hedlun.walton@okemosschools.net.  Since items used in the publication will need to be formatted electronically, this is the preferred method of submission. You may also submit work to any English or art teacher, if you prefer.  If you create a piece of art, we request that you photograph it as artistically as possible, and indicate that you created the art as well as the photograph.
